Description

Float through the deeps, go crazy through trees, and power through crud on the Never Summer Summit Snowboard.

The Summit is Never Summer's quiver snowboard for powder. Grab this deck for those days when you can't ride without a snorkel. The second you hit the powder, you'll notice the benefits of this deck's specialized shape—the streamlined tail sinks while the large, soft tip rises to the surface of the snow. This tapered shape combines with a setback stance and directional design to give you effortless float without the back-leg burn. Open it up in the back bowl or go Jedi through the trees—a progressive sidecut provides smooth turn initiation and carbon reinforcements respond on command for unreal edge-to-edge control. Never Summer integrated crazy dampening into the lightweight wood core to give you a mid-stiff powder stick that feels as smooth over the crud as it does through the deep stuff.

NS Summit 161

I have been riding the Summit 161 since the start of the season. I can't say enough about this sled. It really does float in the powder and rip through the trees. My last board was a SuperModel 168 and I downsized to the Summit 161 with no regrets. It has become my everyday board. What has impressed me most about the board is how well it does on the groomers, bumps, and ice/crud. It turns quick and is incredibly stable at high speeds.
It sucks up everything in it's path.
With the huge setback though, going
switch is not an option. It's built for going one direction and very fast.
