Description

Puffy without the puff.

Get the everlasting warmth of a puffy without the puffed-up bulk when you wear the Nike Men's 550 Fill Vest as a midlayer for chilly ski sessions. Nike stuffed this vest with 550-fill down insulation to add a bit of warmth for times when a full-on down jacket provides too much warmth but your waterproof jacket can't warm you up by itself. The full-zip front seals out any cold drafts when you walk across town, and the button placket adds some style to your casual wardrobe. The stand-up neck mock neck boosts coverage.

mmmm nike down

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This vest has treated me very well through the winter. I've worn it over a long sleeve shirt or jacket when out on the town, cruising on a motorcycle, and under my shell when I'm on the slopes, and it has kept me warm in every situation. The face fabric is comfortable, yet durable enough as to not rip or tear easily. I've taken a few good spills on the mountain and this vest has held up without a scratch. It's a really good looking vest too. The buttons are solid and look nice, and there is also hidden zip up hand pockets on the side of the front storage pockets, which gives you even more storage, or a nice little down oven to put your hands in when it gets chilly. Runs large, I generally wear large shirts and a medium in this vest works perfect. Had I gotten a large, it would have looked like a rain poncho.
