On your last run, when the sun starts turning the mountains red, you'll still be warm and comfortable.
Nike's reputation for excellent athletic attire transcends into the ski world with its Women's Alpenglow Jacket. The Storm Fit 10 shell offers 10K-rated waterproof protection that keeps you dry when light flurries start to fall. The 100g Thermore brings lightweight insulation that warms you up in cool temperatures, and you can layer underneath the Alpenglow for really cold midwinter days. Unzip the vents under your arms to let out some steam when your ride gets intense, and be sure to zip them back up for the chilly chairlift ride back to the top.
The Alpenglow features a powder skirt that keeps snow off your backside, and it attaches to your pants in order to completely seal out any poor conditions. Its scuba hood gives a tight fit to prevent any top-of-the-resort winds from blowing it off your head, and the adjustable cuffs and hem provides a snug fit that blocks out the elements. Store your goggles in its pocket for lunch, and don't forget to turn your music on when you hit up the park.

- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: True to size
Disappointing quality from Nike. I only used this jacket twice while snowboarding, and the shell started to rip. Although I love the color (Gamma Green/Tropical Teal) and all of the features, I will be returning it.
Fun in the trees!
Pow day at Breck!
I love this!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
This is the perfect jacket all around. Although the online pictures are a bit deceiving; the jacket is actually a bright pink and a pinkish red rather than that burgundy rose color. I still love it though! I get so many compliments and its the perfect fit. I am 5'9.5" and I prefer the larger fit, it's alright! The only problem is the wrist size, I have to take time to stuff the cuffs of my mittens into the sleeves which is a pain but I still love this jacket. The fit is also a bell-shape on your figure so it looks really flattering!

Tossing up between getting this or the billabong Jamie Anderson jacket- which will be warmer?
This jacket will be slightly warmer than the Jamie Anderson jacket- 100grams compared to 80 grams in the Billabong.
