Moon boots never looked so good.

Nike must have named the LunarENDOR snowboard boot after a moon in everyone's favorite OG sci-fi block buster sensation, because these things look like they came from a galaxy far away. Designed in collaboration with Gigi Ruf, the LunarENDOR represents the pinnacle of Nike's obsession with creating the highest performance footwear on the planet. Stashed under the synthetic leather upper is a heat moldable liner, and both the shell and liner use Strobel heat reflective technology to keep the heat in. The flex is adjustable via two included inserts, so you can run none for a freestyle feel, throw the stiff inserts in for charging hard, or stick with the happy medium. Nike's Lunarlon cushioning is used in the midsole to provide you with cushy comfort that doesn't feel like the high tech performance booster that it really is. The upshot is it keeps your knees and ankles better aligned, smoothing out the ride and protecting your joints. The team-requested traditional laces get a hand from a lace lock, which lets you independently adjust tightness on the top and bottom of the boot. The end result is probably the highest performance boot in snowboarding.

Do these fit true to size or do they run small like the other Nike boots?

Stiffness says "medium-stiff", would this fall in the 6 -7 stiffness range? Looking for a new boot that is stiff enough that I can also split/tour with.

Responded on

These boots have the ability to adjust the stiffness by inserting one of two shanks for a mid or super-stiff feel or by omitting them all together for a softer feel. Nike hasn't really quantified the stiffness of the boots so its a little difficult to apply our own subjective rating but depending on the shank these would probably fall between a 6 - 9. Basically if you want a stiffer boot that you can change depending on the day then these are a really good boot for you.

Proper Tempur-pedic Cloud Feel

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The Nike Lunar Endor boots feel like a warm over baked cloud of tempur-pedic type cushiness on my feet. They are super light and the quick shoelace grip tech is off the hook. Easy to get on and off, warm, dry, come with stock freestyle flex or added stiffness to your liking with side insert support. Very compact size considering its a size 11 bot and fits like a glove in 3 dif brand and type of bindings that I've tried. Nike boots are proper and probably the best boot Ive ridden in.
