Description

There's no school like the old school.

Nike tapped their original Air Force 1 to put some old-school awesome into the Zoom  Force 1 Boa Snowboard Boot. The clean style gives you the look of black-top warriors, and the lower profile keeps you closer to your board for a responsive feel.

Nike upgraded this boot with a dual-zone Boa closure for quick, secure lacing to help you get on the mountain faster and eliminate down time for re-lacing sessions, and since there are two separate Boa zones, you can dial in a truly custom fit. Synthetic leather gives these boots a great look and repels moisture. A full-length Phylon midsole with a low-profile Zoom cushion absorbs impact for intense park play and packed landings. Multi-zone tread gives you the grip you need to wander the resort without slipping on the icy boardwalks.

I like them

I have the zoom force ties 2012 and now the 2014 boa. At this time the ties seem to fit my foot better and are comfortable all day. On the other hand, the boas are very easy to get on and off.. I hope my feet adjust. I have only had them or a week. Overall, the nikes are and away better fit for me than burton, ride, and all other boots I have tried.

Not so sure

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I like the idea of a simplistic boot like this with not a lot of flash and add ons. That being said they are not very comfortable. It is nice to be able to loosen them up real quick but I don't like that i have to do it in between breaks to let the dogs breathe. The BOA that tightens the upper section of the boot seems to loosen up after a hard run, so I end up re tightening them every run or two. On the plus side they are warm, light and waterproof. Everyone's feet are differently shaped so maybe they will work for you but they don't seem to fit mine very well.

Doesn't live up to the HYPE!!!

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I really had high expectations for this boot. Coming back from blown knee after sitting out for 2 seasons, purchased a new board and these nikes looked pretty sick so pull the trigger after reading all the hype about its comfort. Sad to say, Nike falls pretty damn short and didn't even come close to my expectations. I've owned over 7 different boots from different manufacturers and by far this was the most uncomfortable. Make sure to order a size up from your normal sz. They run small.

Not Comfy

One of the stiffest most uncomfortable boots I have ever put on my foot... It could be considered a "hassle" to put these on. Flex pattern are terrible and the boot feels like a rock.

The Zoom Force's are supposed to be a stiff boot and are by far the stiffest in the Nike line. Try the Vapens if you're looking for more flex.
