Snowboarders are athletes, after all.

Inspired by Air Force 1 (the shoe, not the plane), the Nike Women's Zoom Force 1 Snowboard Boot brings athletic function and comfort to the cold, snowy hills. A super-grippy outsole grabs snow when you hike for ultimate hold, and the separate liner and midsole work together to provide the level of comfort that athletes expect from Nike footwear.

  • Hook-and-loop power strap at the upper cuff keeps the boot snug around your leg for instant energy transfer from boot to binding to board
  • Lace lockers on the upper lets you achieve the super-snug fit you seek
  • Heat-moldable liner features a power strap with lace lock for a tight fit as well as a neoprene toe box to allow your toes to stretch freely
  • Zoom Air Heel in the phylon midsole offers the cushin' you need for pushin' the limits of your riding
  • Aggressive tread offers added grip for park and pipe riding as well as ridgeline hiking

I live in a relatively small Canadian city with a sh*t selection of boardshops so I decided to order these, mainly because they look absolutely dope, and i have a number of pairs of Nike sneakers so i figured i at least knew the right size to get. When they arrived (after an additional $100 in customs fees on top of $66 in shipping), i immediately loved the look of them and could tell they were well padded. I'm a fan of traditional lace-ups because I like the simplicity - however, these things are like a freaking spaceship. I guess if you've had similar pairs it wouldn't be an issue, but my last Ride boots had one pair of laces, on the outside, so I actually had to watch a youtube vid to figure out how to work all the different lace systems on this thing. Only to find out, that the leg is about large enough to fit my arm. I've never even heard of this issue before, but I couldn't do up the inside velcro strap at all, and the outside one not very well. The tongue stuck out strangely and they felt extremely uncomfortable. I have slightly larger calf muscles, but by no means huge, and am 5'9" size 8 - all I can figure is that they used an extremely skinny 5'0" girl as their model. In retrospect, you can kind of tell by looking at the top view of the boot (above). Doesn't look like any leg I've ever seen. So you essentially end up trading sick intense padded liner for the ability to fit a human leg. With all the work involved with multiple sets of laces and straps, I'm not sure I'd be keeping these either way. My advice - make sure you try them on before ordering!

I LOVE my Nike boots!! Not only do they look totally rad and get compliments all over the mountain, but they're SUPER functional as well. They DO in fact run a bit small, I would recommend getting at least a full size larger than your actual shoe size. I wear a size 7 1/2 shoe, ordered the size 8 boots, and had to exchange them for size 9. They fit like a dream. Great ankle support, my feet don't get cold, and the liner forms nicely to your foot after it warms up. These boots also have gnarly gripping power for those off-trail hikes. The ONLY thing I'm not too stoked on is the internal lacing system. It's a little difficult to tighten, especially if your fingers are cold. Highly recommend any of the Nike snowboarding boots! Definitley worth the $$$

at long last

finally, a boot that fits! burton sapphire (size 10) and dc park boot (mens 9) were sloppy on my feet, which are a 10.5 narrow, btw (i know, right?) but from the moment i tried these on, my feet were in heaven. fit perfectly, and i never say that. no heel lift, which i thought would never happen, don't even need the standard superfeet inside: stoked! i got the 9.5...

Nike knows whats up.

I have the most ridiculous feet to fit boots for. Wide duck feet = NO Bueno. Now dont get me wrong, Nike boots are definately a narrow boot, so at first, they were a real snug fit(they do pack out real real nicely). All in all, response with my board and all around comfortability, this boot is unbelievable. Their lace system is unbeatable. I personally have only found one speed lace system that actually functioned. But other than that, I personally find that traditional lace systems seem to be the best option for a premium fit. This boot offers the most precise fit I have ever dipped my feet in(I've literally gone through about 8 pairs of boots in the last 8 seasons...). I LOVE MY NIKE BOOTS. They still ride just as comfortably from day 1 to day 200. Great boots. I have last years but I imagine 2012 rock just as hard as mine do :] HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Amazing boot! Runs small

These boots feel great- support, control and style! This boot is by far my favorite of all that I have tried on this year. I took the size 9, my normal shoe size, for some runs down the hill. Unfortunately, it was way to small and the circulation in my feet was cut off. I am returning them, but only for a 9.5. The ankle support is fantastic, without making the boot bulky. Plus they are very cute. I was bummed that my favorite boot didn't have boa, but the laces are actually not that bad. They stay tight, and although there is a learning curve for tightening them, I'd say they work quite well. I would highly recommend this boot!
