Have pity on the poor sap.
Once your boyfriend catches a glimpse of himself in the reflection on your Nikita Women's Biological Jacket, he'll drop to his knees and thank you for even speaking to him. OK, it's not quite that reflective, but it is made of shiny DuPont-coated polyester that gives it a tasty waterproof rating of 10K. And it will definitely outshine his lame 2006 hoody.
- 100g polyfill insulation gives you added warmth for full-season riding
- Removable powder skirt for any-weather flexibility
- Fully-taped seams add waterproofing to the jacket's natural water-weak spots

This is a really great jacket. I love the material and look, but unfortunately it is made way too big. I bought a 686 snowboarding jacket from this site last season in a size medium which was a perfect fit. I did want a bigger fit in my next jacket so thought this would be perfect because it is a "loose fit" but it is much too big. I ordered a medium and it is more like a large or even extra large! It looks like a potato sack on me! I am usually a medium, and in this jacket I should have ordered a small, and the small would even still be a big baggy I think. Hope this helps others!
Very nice jacket, but not for me
I was looking for an insulated jacket to use skiing and snowboarding. I usually wear the Norrøna Trollveggen, but wanted to try something insulated.
This jacket feels very comfortable, however it is huge! I am usually a medium, but previous experiences with Nikita made me order this jacket i small. It is way too bulky for my taste, and I usually prefer loose fitting ski clothes.
The sangria color is very nice. It is slightly darker than in the pictures, which actually makes it nicer. It is very soft to wear, and does not get in the way of movement.
I am returning this jacket, but only because it just does not fit me. I really wanted it to, but after trying it on with all my different ski gear, I just have to admit that this is not the jacket for me.
