Nikita Mayon Jacket - Women's

The Nikita Women's Mayon Jacket lets you rock the cool look of denim without suffering through the soggy feeling an actual denim jacket would give you if it got wet. You get the look you want, and you'll stay dry and warm while you ride.

  • Polyester twill fabric with DuPont DWR gives you the look of denim, and it sheds light rain and snow
  • Critical seams are taped so melting snow can't work in between the stitching in highly exposed areas
  • Polyester insulation in the sleeves traps body heat to keep your arms warm when the temperature dips
  • Sherpa lining around the torso is insanely soft and cozy to keep you comfy even when the thermometer dips a bit
  • Underarm vents ditch moist, overheated air so you don't feel like you're riding in a sauna
  • Adjustable hood keeps winter weather off of your head
  • Removable powder skirt and zip-on jacket-to-pants interface stop snow from blowing up your backside
  • Adjustable wrist cuffs with internal Lycra gaiters mean snow can't migrate up your sleeves
  • Plenty of pocket space, including two handwarmer pockets, two chest pockets, a zippered sleeve pocket and a media pocket hold your essentials

Bottom Line: get the protection you need without sacrificing your style.

Nice jacket, sweet detailing - mind the sizing

By:

So I initially ordered an XL because according to the size chart this would be ideal for layering etc. I've got wide hips, so I usually have to get an XL in most brands (especially Burton). So it arrived and I tried it on and it looked like I was wearing my boyfriends jacket! It was much too big. The shape is very boxy, not tapered like most other brands are doing now. I re-ordered in large and it's still a bit baggy around the middle, so I could probably swing a medium. I like my jackets roomy and since it isn't really an insulated jacket, I want to be able to layer if I need to - I'll stick with the large. If you want more of a tighter street fit, I would suggest 2 sizes down than what you usually wear. Luckily this jacket is very stylish so it looks pretty dope even if it's baggy.

Nice color, nice details, fairly light and has some super cozy sherpa in it. I probably wouldn't buy this if you're looking to go out in sub-zero temps, unless you layer a lot. I like to layer, so this is perfect. Just be sure to order at least 1 size smaller than what you would in Burton/Foursquare/Special Blend.
