Description

Technologically advanced mid-wide weapon.

Looking for a hard-charging freeride weapon that can charge steeps with the best of them, but isn't afraid to session a jump either? The Blacklight Gullwing Snowboard combines a grip of Nitro's top-shelf technologies into a light, poppy, and mega-versatile all-mountain freestyle ride that'll handle just about anything you can throw at it.

The Gullwing profile features rocker between the bindings with camber underfoot for a poppy ride that holds a mean edge without compromising its ability to float effortlessly in powder. Diamond Laminates incorporates carbon into the fiberglass to improve pop and power transfer for a responsive feel. A directional twin shape increases float in powder and control at high speeds, yet can still easily be ridden switch. The Powerlite core uses ultra-lightweight poplar for an unmatched strength-to-weight ratio, and Profile tips are thinner at the tip and tail to reduce swing weight. The Speed Formula II sintered base is lightning-fast and tough to withstand impacts.

  • Rocker between inserts with camber underfoot
  • Directional twin shape
  • Carbon-reinforced fiberglass
  • Progressive sidecut
  • Powerlite core
  • Profile tips
  • Speed Formula II sintered base

High End Satisfaction

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

True twin all mountain performance in a premium package. That is exactly what you will get with the Blacklight from Nitro Snowboards. Featuring a high end Sintered Speed Formula II Base, the Blacklight charges the entire mountain. The Powerlight core keeps things light as a feather under your feet while the Diamond laminates ensure a snappy and responsive flex. The Blacklight comes in both standard and Gullwing camber allowing you to choose between lightening fast response or a slighlty looser ride. I recommend this board to anyone looking for a high end, true twin, all mountain freestyle machine. The Gullwing version is a lot of fun on pow days and the standard camber is perfect for lapping the mountain with your friends.
