Technologically advanced mid-wide weapon.
Looking for a hard-charging freestyle weapon that can charge steeps with the best of them, but isn't afraid to session a jump either? The Blacklight Gullwing Snowboard combines a grip of Nitro's top-shelf technologies into a light, poppy, and versatile all-mountain freestyle ride that'll handle just about anything you can throw at it.
New to the Blacklight this year are Power Pods, which extend the width of the board under the bindings to eliminate toe drag and create additional contact points for better edge hold on icy slopes. The Gullwing profile features rocker between the bindings with camber underfoot for a poppy ride that holds a mean edge without compromising its ability to float effortlessly in powder. Diamond Laminates incorporates carbon into the fiberglass to improve pop and power transfer for a responsive feel. A twin shape with a slightly setback stance increases float in powder and control at high speeds, yet can still comfortably be ridden switch. The Powerlite core uses ultra-lightweight poplar for an unmatched strength-to-weight ratio, and Profile tips are thinner at the tip and tail to reduce swing weight. The Speed Formula II sintered base is lightning-fast and tough to withstand impacts.
