Kooley's choice for urban domination.
Kooley terrorizes the streets of Salt Lake and beyond with his Nitro Jon Kooley Pro Model Snowboard. Based on the Glory Stomper board, this freestyle slayer is equipped with a twin shape, softer flex, and beefy construction for throwing down in the city. Of course, with all that great snow in Utah, Kooley also likes to shred pow too, so his pro model also has a bit of rocker for float in the deep stuff.
The Flatout Rocker profile is flat with early-rise tips for a catch-free ride that still packs plenty of pop and stability. It's also equipped with Nitro's new Power Pods, which extend the width of the board under the bindings to eliminate toe drag and create additional contact points for better edge hold on icy slopes. Beefy RailKiller edges are 20% thicker than standard edges so they can take a beating when you're throwing down in the streets, and Diamond Band ballistic impact panels prevent binding blowouts.
The lightweight Powercore II poplar core features inlaid beech strips for extra strength, and it's got Whiplash profiling so it's thinner between the bindings for maximum pressibility and thicker underfoot for durability. Biax glass keeps the flex buttery and consistent for locked-in presses, and the Speed Formula II sintered base is lightning-fast and tough to withstand impacts.
