Description

Myteriously fun to ride.

When dipping into the trees for some QT with nature and then heading to the park to take advantage of a sunny afternoon is your idea of a killer day, then look no further than the Nitro Women's Mystique Snowboard. A lightweight, flexible all-wood core lays into park features with a forgiving yet responsive balance of flex, and a directional shape powers through any terrain that you point at. Nitro's Twilight construction is a ladies-specific torsion-to-flex ratio that delivers the kind of response, strength, and flex designed for humans like you and not that hairy ape making an ass of himself in the lift line.
  • PowerCore: tip=to-tail poplar core features balanced strength, board feel, flex, and more pop than an MJ tribute
  • Twilight Construction: women's specific tune for a fun blend of torsional rigidity and flex
  • Progressive sidecut initiates turns easier while accelerating all the way through for speed and power
  • Hi-Def FH base is super fast and easy to maintain

Hey there. I just purchased this board sort of on a whim. Ive been snowboarding for years (FeelGood 152 '04 was my most recent board), and needed a quick replacement. I didn't do my research. I am assuming from the directional shape/fat nose/my new larger size (156) that this board will be good in powder, but the comments about it being an early progressive board are making me a little uneasy. I love alpine, backcountry, powder, anything off the beaten track... is the mystique going to live up to my expectations?

I would say from the specs this board is made for beginner to intermediate riders. This board will be great for riders really learning to control there carves and build the confidence. As far as back country goes. It will probably be better then the feel good. but i would have looked into something with a reverse camber or rocker. (banana technology) any directional board will be better on pow days than a twin board hands down. But there are other aspecs that make a board better in all around back country i just got a reverse camber board and do a ton of back country riding. I will no longer ride anything that isnt a rocker.

next level board

all of you girls out there wanting to get into snowboarding but afraid of spending the money on a board that wont last you more than a year, well here is a board for you... this board is designed for more of an entry level rider, looking for a good price to get going, but can take you too the next level of riding... this board has a radial sidecut, allowing for a much more predictable ride and much eaiser to manipulate... it also comes with an fh base, which means less maintenance and easier to fix when you have to due to that stupid rock no one saw... a full wood core gives you a long lasting, consistent feel and a directional shape means more all around riding... this board will not let you down...
