Asymmetric all-terrain awesomeness.
The Nitro Pyro Snowboard sets the entire mountain ablaze, helping you charge through chop, float through untouched trees, and send kickers with stability. Offsetting the difference between heelside and toeside turning dynamics, this asymmetric twin has a deeper heelside sidecut (shorter turning radius), helping you engage heelside turns with more power. Speaking of added power, the board's Dual Degressive sidecut places two Power Pods on each edge. These Power Pods slice through icy snow and sketchy conditions for added edge hold and grip. Since they extend underfoot, there's a slightly wider area under your bindings for less toe drag, should you be rockin' larger feet (up to size 11).
Designed with Nitro's Zero Camber profile, the Pyro has flat camber for a neutral carving board that holds an edge impressively well, yet one that doesn't feel overly catchy or unforgiving at high speeds. Maintaining a solid feel with loads of pop, the Pyro's Powercore II consists of poplar with beech stringers for added reinforcement. This full wood core is designed with a Whiplash Core Profile, thinning out between the bindings for a skate-like feel with loads of ollie power. Additionally, the Pyro has beefed-up RailKiller Edges for bombproof durability against dings and rail blowouts, and its Sintered Speed Formula HD base holds a ton of wax for blazing fast performance.
