Nixon made the Men’s 42-20 Pu Chrono Watch for beach bums who actually keep track of time. This watch features Swiss movement and a 200 meter waterproof rating so you know how much time you have to work with weather you’re reef diving in Belize or body surfing in Santa Cruz. Use the extending rotating bezel and countdown timer to make sure you don’t stay in the surf too long and miss your dinner date. The 42-20 Pu Chrono’s large size means you can easily read the time from the sandbar to the tequila bar.

True cost of owning this watch for 3 years
3 bands @ $45 each = $135
Shipping costs for shipping it to Nixon 5 times $50
Repair costs for battery and stopped movement 3x $0 (covered under the warranty)
Total Extra Cost $185 in three years
This watch looks awesome, but its just not a quality watch. Wearing this watch daily and taking it off to surf, I would go through a band a year and had to send it back to have the battery replaced multiple times, which seemed like kind of a joke.
If you are looking for a serious watch, look elsewhere.

this watch is mint! the only problem is you sent it to me in coral... sup with that? but i like it anyways so i kept it, all the chicks dig it too. four stars just cuz its coral and not red

Nixon has a nasty habit of making really awesome watches with a deal-breaker quirk. Not so with the 4220.
First off: picture 53-30 as a seventh grader. A seventh grader with beard.
This watch is burly. And the PU strap is provides a different look than all the Fossil-watch-wearing frat boys out there.
The PU strap has a pretty cool notch in the band to keep it attached when you're doing EXXXXtreme sports.
It's a really good watch.
