Now that you've made it big, strap on the Nixon Men's Banks Watch and step up to classy, authoritative look. Like you, this watch rolls with a polished style that will not go unnoticed. Organization and precise timing have gotten you where you are today, and the Nixon Banks reflects this dedication with a clean face and three ultra-thin Japanese movements, including a dual-time dial and a second dial. The thin stainless steel case and chamfered hardened mineral crystal maintain a distinguished appearance. *Available for US shipment only.
Bottom Line: When you demand the best, you get the Nixon Men's Banks Watch.
super pimp. This will get you some poon Guaranteed. Most people agree when choosing between nixon watches within a moderate price range that it comes down to The Banks and The Player. Although the player is tempting due to its far lower price. Trust me, You buy this and the Poon will come. I've already gotten more than enough complements and questions about it. You won't regret it.
This watch is sick as, I currently own three banks the all black, siver and black and silver and silver. I gotta say my favorite is the silver with black dial looks so fly and always gets me compliments
Definitely a matte finish, and yes, the picture above is actually more accurate than how Nixon's site has it pictured--seemingly gray, but with a subtle blueish green tint. Looks very much like a battleship. Very ill colorway.
Dogfunk.com knows that no one wants the used-car-salesman experience, so we decided to show you the other guys prices in an effort to keep your shopping experience as informed as possible. We do our best to confirm this information is correct, but assume no responsibility for the accuracy of the price and shipping information provided by other vendors.
I had the same dilema before buying mine. I don't have the biggest wrist in the world but it looks great. It may seem large at first but after a while it seems normal and looks killer. It has been big enough to catch the eye of a couple of attractive barmaids who have complimented it so my advice is buy one, you'll love, and so will the ladies. Also try comapring the watch to the size of your hand rather than your wrist, sounds strange but it's actually your hands rather than your wrist that makes a watch look disproportionate.
Most watches fit 6 3/4" (or around that size) wrist sizes. As far as Nixon goes and in my personal opinion, I think this will not appear too big, especially when you compare it to the 51-30 or Big Rig watch (big faces. Nixon has taken your wrist size into consideration, and you will be able to remove I believe up to two links to decrease the size. This can either be done in an official Nixon dealer or any watch store.
Yup, paid full price for the all silver one a few years back a retail store and then snatched up the silver/orange one a month or so back on whiskey. Dope style -- understated yet eye catching. Feels solid, looks solid...is solid.
Simply put, you can't go wrong with this watch...it's like so money, it doesn't even know it...okay it does, that's why it's called 'the banks'. Thanks to WhiskeyMilitia for adding to my CC debt, I hate you and love you all at the same time...wait, are we dating then???
I have it in the gunship colorway, which is a bit darker than it looks in the pictures, and it is definitely awesome. It gets compliments all the time. It is fairly big though, like a lot of Nixon's watches, so if you have small wrists you might want to try one in person before ordering.
This watch is perfect! I've gotten so many comps on this watch. I got the gunmetal with the red inside. I love it. I wear it everywhere. On the streets or the slopes, its perfect. An all around great watch...Might even get me another one.
This is my latest addition to my collection of Nixon watches and I have to say it looks wonderful. The Titanium coating is impeccable and the watch looks very good! As with all Nixon products, no complaints!
hey i was just wondering if the 'one size' on the watches is a universal fit? .. so u can just take it to a watch store to get it adjusted for ur wrist
There is also a choice of 2 locations for the clip which allows a smaller adjustment (check the blue plaid watch above on detailed view. The open clasp shows this on the righ hand side of the clasp on the small part that folds over and locks the clasp). I would try asking a watch place to try these first if it's slightly out as it doesn't involving removing links and they'll usually do it for free. Also try getting it slightly too large if trying it in the cold as mine became tight when I got hot.
I am interested in buyinh the mens Nixon Banks with the silver face. I was wondering if you could advise whether the nixon logo on the front of the watch is in capital letters or in the lower case nixon typefont as shown in the picture?
Yeah the older ones have the italics. I prefer the older font as it gives it more of a laid back surfing company feel. Can also be a bargaining tool as shops may be looking to get rid of the older ones to make way for newer stock. I think the newer font has been on the watches for around a year now.
The best thing to do is to go off of the pictures. Basically, what you see is what you get. Older colorways feature the lowercase letters, newer with the uppercase type font.
I got the gunship... love it. The picture posted on this site is actually more realistic than the one on nixon's site. The only problem I had is that the crown for the small dial broke off in the first month I got the watch.. Got a brand new one from nixon tough. The finish is awesome.. it's supposed to wear of with time and I find myself constantly looking for imperfections as it's supposed to do so. By the way, I saw the 51-30 in the same finish.. just to bad it was a little more costy cause I would've gotten that one instead.. looks sick
When I first received it I was surprised how big it was. I thought it might look awkward on my wrist... This was not the case. The sleek design and finish of the watch make it very comfortable and look great. You barely notice your wearing it, but, others sure do. If you buy this watch be prepared... Everyone you know will want one too, and yes, I agree with the other guy... the watch WILL GET YOU LAID! It is the best purchase I've made recently
Nixon's the Banks Watch is one of the hottest time-pieces on the planet and the Black/Black is the finest of the fine!!! Looks great whether you're in a 3-Piece Suit in that Management Meeting or rocking Board-Shorts & Flip-Flops at the Beach Bar. Perfectly sized so that it's more than a bracelet but not obnoxiously large. It also demands attention from Males and Females alike. You're gonna hear a lot of "Bro that's an ill watch," or "hey babe, that watch looks great on you." A little pricier than similar models by Fossil and Quicksilver but a little classier as well. It's definitely worth the $200-$275 (depending on the material and model), as you will feel extra confidence from this dope side-arm! Go Get Yours!!!
