Description

Color combos that master the time dimension.

You don't just know the time when you wear the Nixon Women's Time Teller Acetate Watch; you own time. Sliding on this acetate watch is sort of like grabbing Father Time by the beard and making him scrape the burnt part off your toast. The basic numberless three-hand face spews class and the smooth acetate band and housing provides a blank canvas for a number of colors and patterns that match your closet of clothing creations. If you find yourself on a beach trip, the 100-meter water-resistant case lets you take a dip without leaving your sweet timepiece within reach of beach bums.

This watch is really great looking, HOWEVER you can't tell time with it because the hour and minute hands are black! They blend right in with the background and so it becomes nearly impossible to tell the time if there isn't enough light.

Hey I've got a really small wrist and was just wondering if you could shorten this watch. I didn't know with the material it's made of if it was possible. Also if it is can you do it yourself or do you have to take it to a jeweler? Thanks!

Is the time teller watercolor acetate the same color as the watercolor acetate that is on Nixons website? They are 2 totally different colors from this picture to the one on Nixon. Thanks

Can some one discribe slightly more what kind of material this watch is? I'm not familiar with acetate, I tried to look it up online a bit and couldn't come up with much.. Is it like a lighter plastic material, or a heavier stone/metal? Thanks!

Hey Challenger, acetate is a type of polycarbonate. Think of it as super-deluxe plastic. Looks great, very scratch resistant and light weight compared to metal.

This is the only watch I wear. I have it in the Tortoise shell and it's really cute. The tortoise shell isn't overkill or tacky like some patterns can be.

The watch isn't hugely bulky. I got some links removed and it fits perfectly. I have an average wrist and it doesn't look ridiculously large on it.

I've taken the watch swimming with me a few times and so far it's withstood the water test. I take it off in the shower and hot tub (steam!) as a preventative measure, despite the 2 year warranty.

Overall: sturdy, stylish, and perfectly sized.

Do the hands light up in the dark? I cannot find a watch here with that quality.
