Nomis Era Insulated Jacket - Men's - 2010

Straight out of Nomis’s Simon Chamberlain signature series, the Era Insulated Jacket throws out big- mountain protection. So, even if the weather gets heavy you can keep playing in the deep snow long after your buddies have wimped out and are sitting in the lodge like a bunch of cry-babies.

  • Fully taped seams and 20k waterproof-rated fabrics stop water from getting in so you stay dry even if it gets wet outside
  • Synthetic insulation means the heat stays in and you don’t get cold on the hill
  • Mesh-lined underarm vents let you ditch excess heat so you don’t swamp out and then get cold and clammy
  • Lycra wrist gaskets and a fade gaiter (powder skirt) keep snow from shooting up your back and into your sleeves

Bottom Line: Simon Chamberlain likes it, and that’s good enough for us.

Just wondering if this jacket really is 20K? just seems a bit odd that their cheapest jacket has the highest waterproof rating.

Rizer,
This jacket is a part of nomis Holiday '10 collection - super limited. We decided to step it up with the 20,000mm waterproof rating here, to give some fans something EXTRA! Also, this is the cheapest jacket because it is the Hoody Jacket style. No button/velcro closure over the front zipper. Less pockets, etc. It is meant to wear/fit like a Hoody. I hope this helps!

Jeanette,
This jacket has a standard 80gram fill weight of insulation. This jacket will keep you warmer than a shell, but is meant to be a lighter (hoody) style jacket. Still fully functional/waterproof. More a simple design without the zipper cover flap in front.

I hope this helps!

The Large will be too small - I suggest the XLT for your height.
