My boyfriend is 5' 8" and usually wears a large. He has a small waist but very broad shoulders. Should I get the L or LT? Does LT make the shoulder area thinner?

Hi Katie, the T stands for Tall. It only adds length in the body and arms. The width of the body and shoulders is not affected. Unless he's going for the "tall tee" look I would stick with the regular Large.

on the clay one, there is no writing on back this year. it also doesn't have pockets (might not be the same product as last year's). Also, the XLT is dramatically "roomier" around the waist. I'm 6' 7" but only about 190 lbs, so pretty thin, and it looks pretty huge, at least from the back.

LT does stand for Large Tall. Not knowing his weight its a tough call, but I'd say if he likes a baggier fit go XLT. If he doesn't really wear his clothes on the looser side, go LT. Being 6'3" the XLT may be a safer option.

Hey Stephanie, I suggest LT if he's a slim guy and wants a "normal" fitting shirt for his height. The XLT is extremely baggy, so if he's stocky go with XLT.

Im 5'6 and I wear LT "Large Tall" from nomis. Of course I like a baggy steeze but Its really not that baggy as you can see in my pic. I feel like a LT might be a little short for a 6'3 dude, Especially after you wash and dry it! I'd say Go with XLT
