Nomis Simon Chamberlain Cargo Insulated Pant - Men's - 2010
Nomis pumped up its ultra-popular Simon Chamberlain Cargo Insulated Pants for winter by doubling the fabric’s waterproof rating and adding fully taped seams. Insulation keeps the cold out and the warmth in so you can shred longer and harder without worrying about the weather. Simon Chamberlain doesn’t let a little cold slow him down, and you shouldn’t either.
Fully taped seams and 10K-rated fabrics help stop water from getting in so you stay dry even if the weather gets nasty
Mesh-lined vents let you get rid of extra heat so you don’t drown in your own sweat
Cuff-gussets and waterproof zippers help you seal out snow and moisture so you stay dry
Sag Out feature lets you zip open a waterproof extension of the pant's back side to let it hang lower without actually exposing your butt to the cold
is this pair of pants insulated? if so, how much? i usually wear non-insulated pants on the mountain, and i want to make sure i will not be soaking in sweat if i buy these...
These pants a a 60g fill weight of insulation. Very light. Perhaps there is no need for a 1st layer? Also, there are vents on the inside leg to keep you cool. I hope these work for you!
i got those in emerald green brick print. love the design. very buggy and comfy. You will need a belt, gaiters wont help to keep them up. They are performing average in very cold and windy conditions. it can be warmer. Overall i like.

Actually Dogfunk got it wrong, and the nomis tag got it wrong as well! These pants are 10,000mm waterproof/breathability rated. Sorry for the confusion... Ryan T
Sandy, the tags on the pants say 5k, this was a manufacturer mistake. Dogfunk.com site says, 20k, another mistake. I am working with them to get this switched to 10k. These pants ARE 10k rated, and will hold up in the elements... Sorry for the confusion.
are these 20k or 10k or 5k? whats the deal some guys said they got 5k on review, and on the information thing here it says 2 different things -thanks, sandy
I am 5.3 and I weigh 105, my waist size is 28. I like my pants really baggy and i like to sag. would a small work? and also will these pants keep me warm when i'm shredding whister? please someone give me some answers. -thanks, sandy
Sandy, First of all, the 80g fill weight insulation will keep you warm on those blistering Whistler days! And on the size, I would go with Medium. Although Small's would do you right... you could always rock a belt and keep it G.
Enjoy the season, and say what's up to Simon if you see him up there!
Park Monster, These pants would do you fine in the middle of CO winter. There is an 80g fill weight on these puppies! and if you are stressin', be sure to throw on some thermal underlayers and long socks! ha
Garrett! With your size description... (same as pro rider Derek Dennison) I would suggest going with a Medium size pant. Size Large would be oversized, if you want that!
Also, this pant comes with inside velcro waist adjustment, and removable suspenders... for the perfect fit!
I hope this helps! and you have an awesome Winter of SHREDDING!
