Nomis bumped up the badass-factor in the Simon Chamberlain Signature Insulated Jacket just in time for winter. The fabric waterproof rating has been doubled and the seams are now fully taped. Now the Simon Chamberlain Jacket can keep up when you get an itch for a backcountry romp and want to shred like Chamberlain even in the craziest snowstorms.
- Fully taped seams and 10k waterproof-rated fabrics help stop water from getting in so you stay dry even if the weather gets nasty
- Mesh-lined underarm vents let you ditch excess heat so you don’t swamp out
- Lycra wrist gaskets and a fade gaiter (powder skirt) keep snow from shooting up your back and into your sleeves so you stay comfy

The nomis jacket fits almost exactly the same as our XLT hoody. Maybe just a little extra room so you can rock underlayers and a hoody underneath on those cold days! I hope you enjoy!

Yeah, the jacket was great! All the features were perfect and it was really warm. Plus, it looked badass (I got the orange one). But I really didn't like the length. I am 5' 11" and the jacket went like 2 to 3 inches past my ass. I got a medium. I ultimately had to return it.
If you like long jackets, definitely go for this one. You'll love it. But if you're looking for a slimmer/regular fit, you may want to look at other jackets.

Hey Ryan/Dogfunk, just wondering what the centre back length of the xl vs the xlt is for this jacket (including the powder skirt). Also i'm looking at last seasons model on Departmentofgoods and was wondering if it is the same length as this years.

I believe '09 sizes are as follows:
L = 31.5"
XL = 32.5
XLT = 34.5"

Sam, the centre back length for this Simon '10 Jacket is as follows (powder skirt included):
L = 32
XL = 33
XLT = 35.
The '09 Outerwear was slightly different. I will get back to you with sizing.

Hiya, im just wondering what size jacket to order, im 5 ft 7"
Hiya, im just wondering what size jacket to order, im 5 ft 7" (176cm), i wore a Large Volcom jacket last year, i like an oversized fit. Looking at your size chart would an XL in this jacket be similar? The zipper length on my volcom jacket is 31.5 inches (80cm) and chest size 45 inches.

Large would be similar fit w/nomis jacket as well. The center back length is 32" for size L, so would most likely be slightly longer than your Volcom Jacket. I am 6', and the Large Jacket would fit me perfect, not oversized. So I wear XLT... ha
