Nikki-
This jacket is only a shell. So while it will keep you dry and protected from the elements(snow,wind,etc)... You will need to layer for those COLD days! I would suggest the insulated version of this jacket! Check it:

It was alot thinner then I expected but I love the jacket. Perfect if u have a hoodie on under it! Colors are tight
