An excellent boot
A boot for those people with wide feet and ankles.
The quick lace system is better than the competition, the wheels prevent strain on the laces while you're tightening them. Despite the excellent fit, I also found these boots much easier to take off than other boots I've used in the past. There is a good choice of colours too.
Comfort, at last!
Didnt get these from this site as they didn't have my size, but got them in Australia (and paid a heap more, I might add).
These are the first pair of boots I have owned after hiring gear for about 4 seasons. These boots are very comfortable boots, and just soooooo easy to get in and out of, and to tighten.
It's not an overstatement to say they have completely changed my snowboarding experience.
The only con is that the laces don't tuck away that neatly, but it's pretty minor and I'm sure I'll work out what to do with them.
My feet are a little wider than normal and these fit nicely, no foot pinch anywhere. I was size 10.5 instead of my normal 10.
I finally found the correct boot!
I have had boot pain since I began snowboarding 11 years ago, crippling, tear spilling boot pain. Across my veins in my feet and in my calves. I searched many brands and styles of snow board boots. I found these Northwave boots in a snowboard store that was going out of business. they are the most plush and comfortable thing I have ever stepped into for Winter Sports. I realize that everyone;s feet are different but these do NOT cut you across the top of the foot's arch where your laces would be the tightest if you are going to strap down hard. This boot is very lightweight yet warm as toast. The pull one string tightening system for the inner liner works wonderfully. I am FINALLY happy in my snowboard boots. Give these a whirl if you are trying to find comfort! Don't let the price fool you, THEY ROCK!
My other half says:
Nice looking boot. Lacing takes a bit of getting used to but once you do it is sweet. Can see how some may find it cuts into your calf but I do not have that problem with them. Flex feel right for all mountain. Over all nice on the feet even nicer on the wallet.
