Northwave knows what goes into a tasty all-mountain boot, and they didn't scrimp when it came to cooking up the Lady Legend.
We can't give away Northwave's exact recipe for the Legend Lady Snowboard Boot, but we will say that some of the key ingredients are sassy style, full support, and lots of response. This boot suits the freeridin' woman's palette. Northwave gave this medium-flex boot a 360-degree Heel Hold loop that wraps around the heel and locks it comfortably into place. The Legend Lady's highly technical liner features Skyhike 2 footbeds with arch support frames and Adaptafit slow memory foam for a precise feel. EVA Heel dampening pads eat up chatter and cushion on short landings. For fluid flex during heel-to-toe movement, Northwave strategically placed a soft-foam Flex Window in the boot's tongue. The uppers' PE Mid lining adds stiffness for charging hard down steeps.

3 seasons and still holding up strong!
These are by far my favorite boot. The burberry is not my thing, but who even sees that anyways. The liner is so comfortable and molds to your feet and leg perfectly. The laces on the liner and the boot tighten down great and never get loose. The sizing for me is PERFECT (women's 5). I would say these are not too soft and also not too stiff. I use this for playing around freestyle, but also riding all-mountain and big pow days. Can't emphasize how much I love these boots and they've lasted 3 seasons and I'm not a weekend warrior (live in Mammoth). Maybe its just me, but these haven't packed out at all for me.. like I said they fit like a dream!
I've been buying these Legend boots for years. Northwave makes really high quality footwear with a 1 to 1 last which makes a huge difference..when you buy a size 7, both the outer and inner parts are a size 7, so there isn't any extra space, weight, and they don't pack out and get too big. The inner liner is easy to tighten and they really do mold nicely to your feet
These are really comfy boots. I tried them on at a demo day last year. They had a great flex. I would use them for park riding or freeriding. What is nice is it is not as soft as a park boot and not as stiff as a freestyle boot. a great in between. The sizing was pretty true to what you would wear in other boots. Do note that the liner is heat moldable, so size down a little and get them heat molded or just let them naturally mold to your foot with your own foot heat. The heal hold is quite good in these shoes. They are comfy and I like the style of them as well.
