is it one size fits all or one size...
is it one size fits all or one size avaliable?
i think cause you can move the strap to make it smaller and bigger
I CAN SEE!!!
I would give it 5 stars but it fogs easier than the sunny day lenses on my Wisdoms and the strap joints on the sides of the goggles doesn't fit right with my helmet and pushes my goggles down my face. Other than that, I love the much needed visibility it gives me on dark or cloudy days!
Comfortable, fits my helmet, perfect.
Great Goggle, Get the right lens.
My A-Frames are perfect for me. Great fit, works with my helmet, and they look good.
Make sure you get the right lens for the conditions you're going to ski in. The persimmon lens will leave you squinting often in the Colorado sunshine.
They fog up in cold weather
On my first day with the goggles - a 10 degree sunny Colorado day, they fogged constantly in between the 2 lenses, so there was no way to clear it. To make matters worse, the customer service at Oakley is tragic. I immediately sent the goggles back to Oakley and for over 2 months they have refused to replace them. They are frustrating, slow and often rude.
Are there the lenses changeable so on...
Are there the lenses changeable so on cloudy days I could pop in a different lens?
These really work!
I am a returnee to skiing after a couple decades' layoff. I needed goggles. These looked reputable and were discounted. I went skiing for half a day in classic New England conditions--howling winds and blowing snow; bright sunshine and then overcast. I put the goggles on when I stepped out on the slope and never really thought about them for the rest of the day. Which is what was so amazing. They were remarkably solid, superbly comfortable, never even slightly hinted that they were fogging up, and allowed me to completely forget that I had them on--except that I could see perfectly clearly the entire time. They performed equally well in bright as well as grey conditions. When it really started to darken, yellow lenses might have helped more--but these were remarkably adequate considering I don't think they are low-light specific. Having grown up with goggles that were a constant problem, these were a godsend. Especially the comfort part--rock solid in place, secure but gentle. Amazing. I am very glad to have come across them.
Great googles, didn't fog up. Worked well with my helmet! Worked better for my younger son who has an XL helmet. A bit small for my older guy's XXL helmet - yes, we have big heads!
I like these goggles a lot. I can't make a total opinion of them yet because I've only used them for 1 weekend but I could tell a lot. First, they fit my face and helmet nicely and look really good. The second day I tried them out there was like a foot of powder and I was booking it. They didn't fog up at all. I love these goggles but Im a little bit angry because I accidentally scratched them with my ski. I am not blaming the goggles though because that would have scratched any pair. I do think the lenses are pretty good with not scratching though. :)
Perfect Goggle for a person with a smaller face
These are probably the best goggle i have used. They fit perfectly on a smaller persons face, even with a helmet on. Also the the lenses have never fogged up on me, no matter the conditions.
The only thing wrong with them is that they start smelling like a hockey bag if you don't let them air out a bit after you've used them for a day
These are wonderful! No fogging (until I walk inside after being out on the slopes when I forget to take them off and have my hands full). Fits perfectly with my Giro Fuse helmet. Very happy.
Quality goggle, kind of small
These are great goggles, with quality that you would expect from Oakley. They fit great with or with out a helmet (salomon patrol ace.) The only downside is that they have a somewhat limited field of view, this would probably not be an issue for those with smaller heads. The wisdoms or the crow bars are better for those with a larger melon
Best Tech, Comfort
For the longest time I thought goggles were goggles. These changed my mind. No problem with fog, lenses are top quality and the fit to the face is right for me. I am a huge fan.
can you order these in the orange color?
can you order these in the orange color?
what you see is what is available, try the outlet tho, and von zipper makes some sick orange gogs
Even with a big had and a helmet, these fit great. I have two pairs and love them. I have tried various goggles that friends have from Smith to Bolle to Dragon and more, but I love my A-Frames. Comfortable with a great field of vision. Easy to interchange lens's. Backed by Oakley's warranty and customer service (which I have never had a problem with after 10+ years of purchasing their products).
Oakley makes the best. Great lens for low light.
I worked as a lifty in CO for an entire season and had these on for 8+ hours a day for 6 months. They're super comfortable and you almost forget you have them on most of the time. In terms of lenses, I went with the "Fire" lense for bright days and the "H.I. Yellow" when the weather gets crappy and the light gets flat, and both worked really well.
Oh and FYI...if you rock the Fire lenses, its impossible for others to see your eyes, which means you dont have to play your hand when you check out girls in the lift lines.
Sweet googles for the east coast!!
I used spy goggles before which were ok. But when i got on a pair of oakleys it was a night and day difference. The selection for lens is great. I had trouble in the past because of the low light on the east coast. So i bought two different lenses. Which is great for the snowboard trips or if the sun comes out. The field of vision they provide is second to none. I would recommend these goggles to any serious shredder.
Do the "Oakley Text/Black" goggles come...
Do the "Oakley Text/Black" goggles come with Black Persimmon Iridium lens, which are for weak sun, or Black Iridium lens, which are for bright conditions?
there is no such thing as a black persimmon lense, it means black iridium, it would say perssimon if it was
