why are these glasses so expensive if they are not polarized?
Because they're Oakley, you're paying for the name.
Oakley have always been a bit expensive, but part of that is that they have some of the most visually correct lenses on the market. Oakley's optics have been based on very precise lens curvatures to make the image you see through them as close as possible to the image you see without them on. Lenses that are curved, but not with any precision or care, will tend to distort and/or magnify what you see through them. I read an aviation magazine last year that ranked Oakley near the top of lens quality, out of almost 40 brands.
All that mumbo-jumbo is to say that you are getting a little of what you are paying for in the lenses. You are also paying for style and the Oakley logo as well, but they are good sunglasses, and if you like them and are going to be wearing them a lot, they might be worth it for you. Hope that helps!

How does the women's fit compare to asian fit?
The Asian fit Oakleys generally have a wider fit across the nose.
So I got these like two weeks ago, and they haven't left my face ever since. The detailing looks a little different in person than it does in the picture. I have the caramel ones, and the detailing is gold (shiny) with some little swirly lines in it. In the picture it looks more deeply engraved than it really is. The design is still pretty flashy. The lenses are good for days when you have the sun out, but it's not extremely bright. They're also pretty light, not as light as Omatter, but not as heavy as that alloy wire stuff (Darts). They're slightly big for my small face, but not too bad (probably perfect for a medium sized face).
