Electro-rap remixes are still better than most conversations at the bus stop.
The Men’s Chamber Down Jacket was created to be an inferno of toasty, reversible style. Too bad Oakley doesn’t design people. High-quality insulating duck down and an embroidered Oakley O emit an aura of pure awesome which alters the molecular styling of any human being within its blast radius. Mobbed by beaters? Snake your noise-canceling DJ ‘phones through the headphone cord port and bob your head to mashup artists all day long.

This coat gets a lot of attention when I where it. If your one of those kind of people then you will thoroughly enjoy this coat. Not to mention it is warm in any harsh winter weather, SERIOUS.
Got this jacket on sale here at Backcountry.com, for the price I paid it is an outstanding jacket!(that being said, I would not have bought it for its full regular price of $280..) I have been wearing it since i got it. It is a bit puffy, but then I think that is where the warmth comes from.
Been wearing this in 20 degrees(in downtown Chicago) with just a t-shirt underneath it and did not feel the cold. In fact, it was too hot for me with just a t-shirt underneath in the 30s. Reversible feature, in my opinion, is a double-sided blade... cool since you get 2 looks for a price of 1, BUT the vertical pocket on the chest ends up on the right chest when the shiny side is outside...
Great for just walking around downtown. I don't know how water-resistant/waterproof, the shell is... Might take it skiing might not.
Oh, and sizing is true. I got a small(5'9", 150) Also the cuff and waist is tapered(?) like a hoodie so it keeps out the wind.
Great jacket, BUT
Great down jacket, warm, really like the reversiblw aspect, BUT, the collar is very loose around the neck. I could fit my fist between the inside of the jacket and my neck. Most of my mediums measure 20-21 inches from zipper to zipper. This one measures over 23 inches.
If this is not a concern ... BUY IT!!!
Warm in the mountains
I was on Mt. Whitney, making camp at 12,000 ft, after an entire day of lugging a 55 lb pack, when I put this jacket on. It was into the negatives, with high wind, but I stayed toasty in and out of my tent with this on.
This is a great jacket because it's very lightweight, packable, and warm. By far the warmest clothing that I own.
The only thing I would change would be the outside of the jacket. The material is not the most durable, but it is moisture resistant. The pocket material is not very solid either. Overall, a great purchase.
I really love the chamber down jacket! It's puffy and very shiny. I have a stocky build so the size large fits me like a glove. If you love down coats and jackets then I highly recommend this one!
Be Loud or Quiet!
Nice puffy for around town or as a layering piece. It is reversible, one side is shinny the other matte. Vertical chest pocket on matte side for phone and other quickly needed items, as well as lower hand pockets on both finish sides. Ribbed cuffs and waist band. Its a light down piece that I wear in a Large. Nice and warm.
What fill down or what blend does this...
What fill down or what blend does this jacket have?
Sorry, I am 140 lbs.
This is what I call my Aspen jacket. I get tons of compliments when I wear it and it always cleans me up nice. You can get it in a female version as well. I rock a small. I am 5'10 and 150 lbs.
