If form and function hijacked a ship it would be called the HMS Oakley Eyepatch.

Crazy story! Sick shades!
Oakley eyepatches recovered from bottom of lake. I was wakeboarding on lake cumberland, dropped them in about 18 feet of water. Swam down about a dozen times with no vision, came up with them! Crazy success story. But lost them 3 months later at school. I paid $70 for them on whiskey, and am about to order them full price. That's how much I loved them!
Siiiick shades, great protection, polarized is worth it!
I luv these shades.I thing i didn't expect is that the lenses are BIG. But if you got a big face you'll look fine.
great protection, but somewhat uncomfortable
Immediately upon putting these glasses on I am stunned with the clarity and darkness of these glasses. The only downside is that the earpieces are uncomfortable after about an hour and a half. The earpieces seem to stab into my ear, the design could be fixed if the ends were tapered rather than expanded. This is bad for me because I commonly drive for 6 hours on the way home to South Carolina from school in Virginia.
I'd suggest stepping up to polarized glasses any day now. Worth the extra money for sure.
Dopest Oakleys around! Comfortable fit and precision lenses. I also cant get over the great deal i got!
do these glasses come with darker...
do these glasses come with darker lenses?
black iridium polarized is basically the darkest lens oakley makes... the lenses look way more like a black mirror in real life.
EyePatch Polarized, Full Eye Coverage
These Eyepatch Polarized Sunglasses are very light is like you're wearing tinted polarized see thru eyepatches on each eyes. Whether you look up, down side to side its protected from the sun and glare all around. You do need a medium to large face size like the tech specs says. All the girls at my workplace commented on how great it looked! I would also pick up the Oakley Large Vault case to protect it. Picture to follow up soon.
Great for pillaging and plundering.
I love my Eyepatches. I alternate between polarized and non. These are great shades for water or where you might catch glare.
Step up from the gas cans
Grabbed these off SAC after reading a review about how they fit someone with a gigantic dome better than the gas cans. He was right on the money. I was in the market to replace my gas cans since they had been beaten to shit, lots of divots on the lenses from a large drop onto gravel.
It worked out well because I lost my gas cans in drunken river romp the day after I ordered these.
Anyhow, the eyepatchs fit my gigantic 63 cm XXL giro wearing thunder dome. The coverage is great and the optics are spot on for Oakley polarized.
Two minor down sides keep them from getting 5 stars. The arms of the glasses are a little thin and look almost not right for the eye part, but its not bad. And I've gotten comments on how they look like "shield" style glasses that trendy people wear :(
I bought these for my son and he absolutely loves them. Very nice!
Not for people with small heads. Luckily, I have a big head and they fit me perfectly. I'm not read to buy "sport," sunglasses, but I've done 40 mile bike rides with these and had no problems. The lenses are huge, which is great because after a few minutes you forget that you're wearing sunglasses. Also: no color distortion.
just got these off DF these shades are SICK. polarized oaks for under 100 bucks is whats really gud
Could you see my eyes if I were wearing...
Could you see my eyes if I were wearing these shades with the iridium lenses? polarized? It seems like they are more clear than the other lenses that aren't polarized. I like to have my eyes hidden when I wear shades.
the pic on here doesnt do the lenses justice. its an iridium tint, so its mirrored. reall sick, these are a steal
Excellent sunglasses, unbeatable price.
I have never owned a pair of polarized sunglasses previous to the Eyepatch, and I can safely say that are one of my best purchases. These are the best pair of sunglasses I have ever owned, and the price is unbeatable.
I shopped around for quite a few days in the local area, trying on Smith, Native, and many other brands. While Native seemed to have good sport fit sunglasses, I found the distortion level to be a little high in the styles I tried on. I was disappointed with Smith as well, and after trying on many of their sunglasses, I didn't feel like any of them were completey secure on my large head.
Finally after trying on a pair of these, I immediately knew they were the fit and size for me. I highly recommend them for any active person. The polarized lenses have minimal distortion, and are great for reducing the brightness without sacrificing visibility. To me the glare reduction makes a world of difference especially in the city where the sun bounces directly off cars and windows right into your eyes, thus making the polarized feature excellent for driving. Also their excellent fit makes them barely noticeable on my head, while not hurting my ears or nose bridge in the process. Fogging of the lenses is minimal, as long as you make sure to have some air flow.
Five stars for great sunglasses at an affordable price!

Write your question here...Where can I purchase just the lenses for my Eyepatch polarized sunglasses.
I've bought lenses for Oakley shades before. I got them from a licensed dealer. I don't know if Oakley sells them directly to the public, but if you find a dealer, they might be able to help you out.
LOVE my oaklys
I have always wanted Oakley sunglasses and I now have 2. The eyepatch was purchased as a spare but I wear them all the time. I love them way more than the more expensive ones purchased from optical center. They are so comfortable and VERY cool looking.
These are some awesome sunglasses. The lenses are unbeatable. Coverage is great. They are very light and fit very comfortably.
Awesome for People with Monkey Faces
I have a monkey face: big high check bones, cro-mag forehead, and a small head. I always had problems finding sunglass that provided coverage. These are amazing sunglasses. I bought them specifically to survive Crested Butte summers, but I find myself wearing them everywhere. The styling even gets the nod from the uber-conservatives I work with.
Smith Buyer for life?.......
These are great shades! I have bought Smith Shades exclusively for many years after Oakley pi*%ed me off. Then on SAC these pop up!
I bit and I am not disappointed. Own MANY pairs of Smith Super Method. These are larger and have better coverage. Pinch on my nose to there is a star lost.
If you have a nose that has never been broken these are the shades you want! I plan on wearing these for quite some time.
Best glasses ever!!
I love these shades!! I have some gascan's and they are a little tight on my big head.(7 5/8's) These are a little bigger, awesome visibility from all angles. Polorized is the way to go. By far the best lenses I've ever had. Perfect in light, and in darker situations. Lenses might be a little big for some people, I love them!!
