When it comes to looks, some 'boardies' are just too intense and others are just too bland, which is why Oakley gave the Men's Intense Board Short a sorta flashy but not-too-crazy print. But, those characteristics are just cosmetic. What really matters is that the Intense board short offers complete comfort through flexibility as well as Hydrolix nano-tech water-repellency added to the material.
Bottom Line: Intense comfort with not-so-intense-on-the-eyes style.

An Overall Good Board Short

The Oakley Intense Board Short - Men's definitely hits the mark as a good all rounder. I couldn't find anything glaring on it as: the fashion was good, but not too bright (even the yellow); the fit was a slight big on the waist and inseam, but that gave it more comfort and the material was very quick drying and stopped most abrasion.
I found that the material doesn't quite match up to the ultra quick drying and virtually no chafe high end Billabong offerings. But in that statement alone shows that the price is right for these shorts. Quick note: not a complaint, but has a zip fly. Interesting to get used to, but found it better for casual situations.
