Older Bro shreddin in the Mission Pant
Photo taken at snowbird, UT
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift
- Fit: Runs small
My brother visits every year to snowboard at Snowbird, UT. Since he is just using the pants every once in a while I suggested that he get this pant. It's waterproofing is perfect for the amount of snowboarding he does and they are warm. He just wore a baselayer and they were fine in the 15-25 degree weather during his visit. Also the fit is great he is 5'10" with a 32 waist and 30 inseam and the size L were very comfortable for him. He likes to wear his stuff on the loose side so that is why we went a size up. He was very pleased with them and the worn olive color is pretty on spot. He Paired this pant with the Oakley Cottage Jacket and it looks great!
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: Runs small
Based on my recent purchase which I will be returning, the pants run very short yet the waist runs extremely big. I bought the XL mission pants. I am 6'4" and they were 4-6" too short and the waist was at least 3-4" to big. So much so a belt would not work. I wear a 36" waist and these were meant for a 40". These do not run close to size based on most other manufacturers. Great looking and the crystal grey color was perfect but fit was not.
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: True to size
I haven't had a chance to use them snowboarding yet, but I did go sledding with them on. The elastic liner around the ankles prevented the snow from climbing up my legs and the insulated/waterproof shell kept me warm and dry. The zippers are smooth and are in a good location. Not to mention the crimson color perfectly matches the crimson color of other Oakley gear. Very nice pants.
