Im 6,3 tall, and the XL size fits just perfect.
The hood is incredibly confortable and warm enough .
Works great under ligth rain, but this quality seems to be disapearing every time it goes to the washing machine.
I have it in my car every day, so when its kinda cold its just rigth there. And girlz love the blue one wich i have.
This is my go-to hoodie. Biking to a bar on a drizzly Seattle night? This thing is perfect. The original DWR (mine's long since worn off, had this for 3 years) worked quite well at keeping just a little bit of rain off your back. I'm always warm, and this thing breathes well. Good for me down to the high 40's, probably good for others down to 55° or so.
Very Nice Hoody
I recently had the chance to wear one of these hooded sweatshirts and I loved it. As I only wore the hoody once I do not know how long the DWR coating will last. I was dry even though it rained for a few hours. It was a light rain but I was still impressed with the water resistance that the hoody provided. The hoody was warm although still felt pretty light. I wore a Large and it was a bit big on me. I am about 5'9" and 160 very lean so when I ordered mine I picked a medium. I wasted no time in getting home and ordering one for myself. The thumbholes seemed pointless for what I was using the hoody for but I would say they help keep your hands warmer if not wearing gloves.
This is a good hoody. Comfortable. The hood is stitched so that it actually fits your head, as opposed to those cheap hoodies that just sew two pieces of material together forming a dome cone. The DWR finish works great, a light drizzle rolls off without issue, though I can't comment on the longevity of the finish yet. The torso is long enough to cover your un-tucked shirt. There is also an "Oakley" logo on the back, covered by the hood in these photos.
The sleeves are dis-proportionally tight/narrow. If I have a long-sleeved casual shirt on underneath, the sleeves will bunch up under the hoody and you can actually see the wrinkles through the hoody. A little disappointing. The thumb holes are worthless. I've tried to use them on several occasions but they are just too small and end up cutting off circulation.
