Killer softshell

I am really liking Oakley's Unification line up. I own the power dry mid-layer, and it works perfectly under the Unification Windstopper softshell. The coat has a nice DWR to repel water, is 100% windproof with the Gore Winstopper, nice hood, venting, excellent fit. I am about 58 135-140 and own the small in both, they work perfectly together. So light, yet great protection for the elements. Like Seth Morrison would wear anything that wasn't super cool...

Hi Mike,

I have a question about the jacket. I am 6 1' and my weight is around 164 lbs. I wouldn't use the jacket for skiing or snowboarding, but just to wear as a casual jacket in the winter or autumn. What size would you recommend? This jacket looks quite short (not the sleeves, but the length close the pants). So should I take a M or L?

Grtz,

Bjorn

Does this soft-shell have a pow-skirt? (nothing noted either way)

I love how the Oakley Jackets & Pants integrate.

it doesn't have powder skirt... this is not a rider jacket, is more like a hike/touring thing than to use as a softshell to ride.

Warmer times

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great hiking or spring day jacket. Fixed hood large chest pockets. Nice length and fit to body. Part of the Unification Kit Good wind protection.

Seth, do you size up on that piece? I have last year's Sethmo power stretch fleece and down jacket both size small. Should I go small on this one too? 5'5" / 150

Same kinda question here. I have the Unification Power Dry, and it fits perfect in small, would I need to go Medium in this SS to wear over it?
I am thinking this would be a nice combo, as I already have a North Face Gore-Tex shell for full waterproof.

thx man...
