Jonesing for some powder.
The O'Neill Men's Jones 2L Jacket is the perfect choice for snowboarders seeking fresh powder in the backcountry. Its fully taped HyperDry shell provides reliable waterproof breathable protection as well as a four-way stretch for uninhibited mobility on the mountain. HyperFlow's ventilation system includes discreet chest vents for constant airflow, and the chest zippers increase ventilation while hiking.
The Jones Jacket also features a powder skirt that stows away for on-piste days at the resort. The jacket-to-pant interface connects to compatible pants by O'Neill for compete coverage in gnarly conditions. An adjustable hood, wrist gaiters, thumbholes, a drawcord at the hem, and hook-and-loop cuffs completely seal out cold drafts. Recco's recovery avalanche reflector may help Recco-equipped ski patrols find stranded snowboarders in case of an emergency.

Is the hood on this jacket helmet compatible? That is, can a helmet be worn with the hood down without interfering with the fit of the neck and/or the way the hood lays? It's not necessary for me to be able to pull the hood over my helmet but my Burton AK 2L Cyclic Jacket doesn't work well with my helmet even with the hood down - the collar gets super tight and the hood lays back all weird. Thanks!
Does this jacket have any insulation or warmth to it at all or is it just a shell to be combinded over undershirts
This is just a shell. It is designed to protect from the elements both precip and wind. Insulation wise you will want to pair this jacket with a nice baselayer and for the really cold days have a midlayer with you to insulate some warmth .
