I've used this product a couple of times so far this season. Super functional! Totally breathable! Both times in bluebird conditions and it worked great. I don't know how well it will function in cold weather. You can't go wrong for the price.

This thing is awesome! I haven't gone boarding with it yet, but i will tomorrow, so that's exciting. I have, however, gone biking with it in super cold temps and it held up really well. I love this thing. Looks awesome too!
**Post use edit
I've now used this a bunch of days on the hill and it rocks. It stays on my face and never falls down. I can breathe with it on, and it has never frozen up on me, and I took it to Killington for 3 days and the temps were below 0 one day. The Yowie is amazing

Since it is a tube I just turn it so the back of the neck is now the front and the front can dry from the heat of the back of the neck..

This little invention is pretty nifty up on the slopes at Cypress, West Vancouver, BC Canada! Provides a nice layer between your skin and the wind and cold; the only drawback is that your breath makes it moist on the inside so maybe go for the arctic version for boarding/skiing in really cold places. Otherwise this looks pretty badass on the slopes! (Also grab one for Burning Man dust storms, you won't regret it!)

I've had a few Yowies for a while now (3+ years) and none of them are fraying. The lack of a sewn edge actually makes them very comfortable under goggles or a helmet. Just sayin'.

Love this thing, worked great, gets a little damn if your lips aren't dry but it wasn't anymore of a deal than any other facemask I've used. My only issue is it slides down a lot.
pretty good

pretty good for days where the sun is out and its above 25 degrees. kinda sucks if its snowing and cold because it will absorb the moisture and freeze. but no matter what temp or weather it is outside this mask is perfect to keep your neck warm. if you go a day without it your neck will freeze.

Great product, recommend not using it on the snowy days because it will get wet real quick. Breathing out of your mouth will make these saturated and will freeze. Used it mostly as a neck gaiter and worked great.
Change me.
