Pajar is a superior boot made in Canada. Wool is extremely warm.
Sorel is made in China ! Sorel can't compete.

The Worst

This boot is waterproof, but does not keep your feet warm at all. If I walk a block in these, my feet are cold to the touch when I take them off. They almost seem to be better suited as rain boots. These are an epic fail as winter boots.

Get something else. Anything else!

It's just a No.

Hands down the best looking cold weather boot out there. Unfortunately they are not well made for the super price tag, the sizeing is a shot in the dark at best, and from all reviews from around the web, they are not warm enough. I purchased 2 (yup, 2 pairs) because of size issues, c,mon I'm a size 7, that isn't tricky. Had to return both pairs, so I have no boots, and I"m out $12. in return shipping, thanks backcountry customer service, how about a store credit for selling a poor quality product?

I'm a size 7 also and you made me change my mind to look for a different brand. Thanks for doing the work. Sorry for the none shipping fee credit. You should try zappos free ship/return all the time :)

I'm a size 7 (37.5) in street shoes too and more like a 7.5 in running shoes. So what size(s) did you try. I want to order some. (Now please, do not just post the sizing chart! Yes, I looked at the chart! Obviously, the gal above looked at the chart. And clearly had some issues trying to size this boot.) Thanks :)

I just bought a similar pair of Pajar boots (Giana) and had NO issue with sizing. I'm a 7 - 7.5 and the 38 fits perfectly. There's a little wiggle room for thicker socks, but from my experience they fit as these boots should.

Pajar Sizing

Here's the Pajar Size chart:
Euro. Sizing: 36=5-5.5, 37 6-6.5, 38=7-7.5, 39=8-8.5, 40=9-9.5, 41=10, 42=11.

Actually, according to the "Size?" button which is next to the "Select Options"button
(where you select the color/size you want to order), a Women's 10 = Pajar 41.5. To my knowledge they do not make a 41.5, so if you wear Women's 10 you need the 42 Pajar size. I tried them on in a local shop and found the sizing very odd. They are very nice looking though!

I am a size 9 and ordered the 40, per the size chart. They are way too small. I'm going to risk the return shipping and try the 41s.
