Poler Magic Tarpit - 2012

The Magic Tarpit is exactly the kind of genius, simple, and super-functional product that defines Poler's existence. Part tarp, part poncho, and all awesome, the Magic Tarpit features a hood and arm pockets so you can wrap it around yourself, and space-blanket insulation on the inside to trap heat. Corner grommets let you create a simple shelter or protect your gear from the elements.

Nice multi-function unit. Doesn't suck.

Ron, If I were to guess I would say its about 5' tall and 4' wide. I have used it a ton of times for many different purposes. You can use it to stay dry, footprint for a tent, stay warm(reflective side in), stay cool(refelctive side out) or a lean to like the photo I posted. Thing is so simple and amazing at the same time.

I'd make the trade in a heartbeat! For $20 you get an item that has so many uses its crazy. I have used it a ton of times for many different purposes. Potential scenarios; stay dry, footprint for a tent, stay warm(reflective side in), stay cool(refelctive side out) or a lean to like the photo I posted. Thing is so simple and amazing at the same time.
