Scrape off the excess, before you go-go.

- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This is an absurd product. It's a 3" x 5" scrap of 1/4" thick black acrylic, and believe it or not it actually comes up short in the following ways:
1. The item I received was old enough so that the paper backing (protective film to prevent scratches) had bonded to the acrylic and took 10 minutes to remove. Again, this is a scrap of acrylic. It shouldn't require more than 3 seconds of attention.
2. The logo is actually milled into the surface of the scraper, which means that if you were to file it down enough (7/16"), you'd actually end up with an uneven edge on one side. Of course you can just use the other side, but it seems silly when you consider that the only requirement of a scraper is a sharp, even edge.
Go to the Home Depot and buy a piece of clear acrylic. If you're the type of person who's waxing your board, you probably know what a table saw is and have access to one. Cut the Home Depot acrylic into a bunch of pieces, whatever size you want. Now you and your friends never need to buy scrapers again.
