Because it's not black or white out there.
There's the type of cold that warrants staying home and also the type of cold in the spring that's more warm than cold, but most days are in the middle, the kind the Pow Gloves Sniper GTX Glove is ideal for. It has a great blend of weatherproof features, venting, and insulation. While you are making an ascent, you can unzip the low-profile vent on the back of the hand to minimize sweaty hands before you head down the mountain. The waterproof breathable Gore-Tex insert and the DWR treatment on the nylon shell keeps moisture away from your hand to keep you comfortable, and 100g Thinsulate insulation keeps you warm. Ultra-tough Climba-Tech palm material withstands ski edges and rope tows. Take out the removable polypro liner when the conditions are warm or to let it dry out after a hard day on the hill, so you'll be toasty and ready to go for the next day of the storm.

They're insulated w/ Gore Tex, so they'll keep your hands warm and provide waterproof protection. The sizes run a little small, so I'd suggest getting one size up from what you normally wear. All-in-all a solid product.

You work hard for those donuts. Shouldn't you get the most out of them? Gore-Tex, Free Polypro Liner, on the fly venting and the list goes on and on. The Sniper abides!
