one of my better investments this winter. I fell hard in the park on an icy transition... my knees were black & blue for 3 weeks. I went ahead and bought these and tried them out a few weeks ago...no complaints here. Id say they absorb 75% of the impact.

i knew that i would need to try these on before purchasing so i contacted dogfunk with my measurements, 17" above the knee, 14" below the knee, and the rep recommended that a medium would be perfect. once the medium arrived and i tried them on it was just way too restrictive, so i returned them and ordered a large.
the large fit ok above the knee but still cut off my circulation below the knee. i don't think that my calves are overly huge but just couldn't get these to fit comfortably. without an option for XL sizing i had to return the large as well. the quest to find knee pads continues...
Hello, What difference between S and M sizes? In accordance with Size chart they are fully same...

I have a weak left knee, everytime I fell down on it and felt it grinding in the rough snow I hated myself for doing this to my body. I told myself I wouldn't go out again without knee pads, so I did a little research and bought these here. After trying them on I couldn't be any happier. I put them on over my first layer, and completely forget I have them on until I fall on my knees and to my pleasant surprise, no pain! It's feels like you fell on some pillows. I'm about 5"11, 165lb and I bought medium they fit great. If you are at all worried about your knees, I highly recommend them, it was worth every penny!

these knee pads are awesome! They save you from breaking your knees apart on anything you could smash them against like ice chunks, tables and bars at the park, etc. I wear these over my first layers and under my pants and they fit great. I'm 6'0" 200lbs(body builder in case you were wondering lol) so I ordered the large. I had to stretch the top of them to fit over the bottom of my thighs a bit, but after that they fit perfectly. If you want a knee pad that has the hard plastic on it, I'd recommend getting a set of skate knee pads. If you would rather have a pair of comfy knee pads to go under your pants that won't get in the way and won't get saturated in the snow, then these are the super squishy knee pillows for you! :D
Hi. Looking for knee pads for my daughter. 15 year old slopestye and halfpipe semi pro. . She was wanting the Red smaller knee pads but don't seem to be able to find them. She has tight fitting pant legs. Do you think these will go under them OK?

These knee pads are super cushy but the material that holds the pads together is terrible. The stitching started to come apart after the first wear. They are way over priced, I returned these and got the red knee pads which are half the price and twice the quality. The padding on the red's is a little worse but still worth it in my book.
do these come with a left and a right. silly question, but only one is shown and i want to make sure.

The best knee guard I have ever wore! They do their job extremely well and at the same time leaving you in a perfect comfort zone. I wore them for about the whole day to check if they easily slip off or if they feel uncomfortable. The truth is: nothing made me change my mind about them. Very comfy and well fitted. I also slammed on my knees to test how well they guard my knee and they performed super fine :):) Lastly, they are true to size (I wear medium).

Put these on over the first layer. Fell a few times over the weekend and didn't come back with any bruises. If you're worried about bangin your knees up at all, these are the way to go. $30 is a great price for these pads. Would definitely recommend for beginners. Pounding your knee into the ice is a good way to get fluid pooling on top of the knee cap. trust me.
