It's pretty hard to argue a case for any optics company on the market today having better quality than Oakley. Smith is definitely a close second, but if you do a little research into what makes Oakley's frames and lenses (which you should do) you'll find that they are truly a cut above the rest. Now, for the Airbrake specifically. This is definitely Oakley's answer to the Smith I/O, which is very possibly the best and most advanced goggle ever made... until now. One part Oakley's killer optics and one part a far superior lens interchange system makes the Airbrake the king of the block. Unless you simply can't afford them, it's logically the only choice. Do it, your eyes will thank you. As for a lens recommendation, the dark gray and hi-yellow arsenal covers you for pretty much every situation.

I just bought this hat, and unfortunately had to return it. it's a really good looking hat and felt like it was quality constructed... but, it's wicked small!!! even with the adjustable strap as big as it goes it barely fit on my head. granted, i have a pretty big dome, even then any adjustable trucker hat should fit just about all sizes. this one, doesn't. that said, if you have a medium to small to SUPER small head this would be a steezy option most definitely.

Love these shoes! super comfortable. i don't actually skate... but as a street shoe, killer! Not shown in the pictures are the rasta laces that the 'black/rasta hemp' colorway comes with (and i would assume the natural hemp ones do too) for a bit of added steeze!!!

So rad!

Perfect low cut sock. when it comes to socks my main criteria are 1.)when i pull it on it better form right where it's supposed to without any adjustment and just feel right, and 2.) it better last longer than the jug of milk i have sitting in my fridge. so far these meet the first stipulation, but since it's day one, i'll let you know when i have to turn a pair into dish rags.

i've been skiing in the Holt, with and without the audio option, for 3 seasons now. if you're into skiing with music it's definitely worth paying for the audio shot. i haven't skied in the Maze helmet from smith, i have tried it on, but i still think i'm going to go with another Holt when i buy a new helmet. it's just simple, steezy, and protective. not to mention warm. maybe check out the Maze if you're worried about the weight, but you CAN NOT go wrong with this helmet. way better than other Giro's i've owned.
