These sun-haters stole the show for me on all levels. The Swindler provides function, class, and comfort in a lightweight package that doesn't disappoint. The frames provide full coverage without creating blind spots that can be bothersome when you’re moving around. I overlooked the grips hidden in the temple tips, but that is definitely a cool add-on as a last ditch effort to keep the glasses on your face. Plus, they compliment a Hawaiian shit perfectly.
All around great product, and I would recommend to anyone.
These glasses have awesome style appeal, and I was pretty happy when they showed up on my doorstep. They are just as thick as they look in the picture and the heavier weight is definitely a little different from what seems to be in right now. In terms of functional use, you develop peripheral blind spots when you put them on because of the thickness of the temples. Nonetheless, the Tice gives you full coverage and sun protection.
Unfortunately my pair was doomed when they crashed to a concrete floor shattering the frame. It seems the perceived thickness and weight didn't contribute too much to resilience.
I just completed a full season wearing the Nike Vapens, and these are definitely the boots that lets you forget about your feet all day long. The comfort and flex afforded to the rider in the design gives movement a soft feel as opposed to the constriction and boxy lack of forgiveness that one can find in other boots. Another thing I like about this boot is the basic lacing system allows you to lace up your boots however you want quickly and easily. Also, it?s pretty hard to break or jam a traditional lacing system. These boots have a pretty skatey feel and broke in almost immediately after coming out of the box.
I would absolutely recommend them on all fronts: performance, comfort, and stye.
