Pros: Dual-board carry, highly adjustable, ergonomic shoulder and hip straps, lots of pockets, compression straps give it a snug, low-profile on your back.
Cons: Pricey for a lightweight nylon backpack.
If you can grab one of these comfortable, functional packs on sale, you won't be disappointed.
Overall, these are rugged bindings with great response and power, fairly good board feel, and ultimate adjustability. Unlike my Customs, which are great for park and pipe but squirrely like a Fiat on a logging road when bombing moguls or AK lines, or my Ride RXs which feel like Im wearing ski boots nailed to cinderblocks cuz theyre so stiff, the Targas can be tweaked from one end of the flextrum to the other without sacrificing performance.
My only complaints are that they only come in two sizes and my size 9 boots fall right in the middle (the S/M just barely fits) and that the autostrap should be called the uselesscrap cuz thats about how useful it is. Neither of these issues will detract from your overall satisfaction with these bindings though if youre only gonna own one binding for the rest of your life, these will do you just how you like to be done kinda like that skanky chick from last weekend.
I have both the Sessions Zoom and Parachutes and I gotta say the Parachutes are my fave. The fit is loose but not too baggy like the Zooms, and cut just right so they hang perfectly when you're strapped in. I love the sherpa fleece lining in the seat which not only keeps your butt warm, but also softens the impact when you bunt a trick on those icy days. Overall, the perfect pair of snowboard pants.
I've worn my Orbits 5 times so far and I can't think of a single bad thing to say about them. Then again I shouldn't, since they are one of Spy's top-end models. They stay fog-free, even after boarding all day with snow in them (I'm a noob so that tends to be all the time). My lens is chrome persimmon, and are great in bright light, not so great in low light. The orbit lens does give you a slight fishbowl effect though, but it's hardly noticeable. I have a medium-large face and they fit slightly narrow, and if you don't have a nose bridge then there will be a gap. I wear them with my Skycap II which holds them in place perfectly, but without it they'll slide up on my face. So if you have a flat face/nose then wear them with a helmet. Other than that, they look awesome -- definitely the best looking goggles made by Spy. Although they're pricey, they perform and look like it. And at this site's prices how can you go wrong?
I bought this watch in white on red for my girlfriend who's got tiny wrists -- other cuff watches looked like blown tires wrapped around her arm but The Naughty looks absolutely great. The tapered band is nice and feminine while the thick leather and big metal studs add that touch of rocker sass to a sexy, attention-grabbing watch. Highly recommended, especially in red!
