i dunno about the laid part, unless u are fucking amazing on the slopes, but seriously these binders are perfect... im stationed over in italy and its hard to try stuff on and view before buying.. i bought these as a reccomendation only and lets just sayim very pleased with the quality of the product... ive ridden flux, ride, and forums binders and these beat them all, perfect flex for the park and to take to the steeps. they match perfect with my 156 nitro T1 board as well as my 161 GNU RC MTX... i cant say anything but positive things.... only downside is people keep asking me for the "sweater" part to keep thir booze cold.... check them out.... 10 out of 5 star rating....
So i have had the chance to ride 3 different sets of bindings this year... The Forum Areas, The Flux Stream, and the Burton Cartels. All worn with the same boot and on the same board. The cartels definatly come in last. On my 3rd trip the the mountain the toe strap snapped, i replaced that, and than the ratchet apparatus complete fell apart, while i was tryign to get at LEAST a decent amount of toe hold, u really have to wrench these things down to get a decent hold. I have never had this problem with any other binding from burton just the cartel. Just kinda dissapointed me coming from such a well know company known for quality....
great does exactly what it says.. looks good, keeps u warm, and not bulky great jacket
Using it all from pow to park so just cruizin the groomed slopes, keeps u warm in the cold and cools u down in when it warms up... plenty of room and great quality.... only complaint is when they came in the mail the company tag on them stated they have zip tech to zip right on to ur powderskirt.... it doesnt have this... but other than that no complaints
Everything here in europe seems to be unconsistent, some days it too warm to wear a full insulated jacket, other days its too damn cold to wear just the shell.. This jacket is awesome Keeps you warm while ur in the pow and comfortable while in the park... and for the really cold days keep the liner (vest) in and just add a long shirt or sweatshirt, plenty of room for adding extra layers without feeling like a straight jacket... worth it for all conditions
