Still going strong on these after 11 months of use! I 'upgraded' from the Vertikal K. More protection in the sole but still maintains its minimal feel. I usually run on the Shoreline trail on the east bench behind SLC, UT and stick to runs under 10 miles. I take out my Nathan water bottle, which keeps a nice, minimal set up. NAT0040

while chatting with a customer who bought these for her daughter and returned them. She had this to say;
'have a decent hand fit, but very short wrist fabric (the distance between the elastic at the base of the palm and the opening of the glove is minimal)...I think it wasn't holding her body heat in.'

super comfy, well fitting shorts. Like Zach said, soft, clean and classic. fFit is just above the knees with a well sized inseam. Fit might be a touch on the larger side but with adjustable waist by way of button, i still wear without a belt.

These are sick and dare I say my new favorite jeans? Slim but not too tight and good slouch in the ankle. Enough stretch to accommodate a more 'active' lifetsyle. I hate jeans that I can't even get my leg over my bike frame without having to do some sort of modified yoga moves. Not an issue with these.

These are OK shades. No Oakley or Smith Optics here, but are a decent pair of shades to keep around when you need them. Once on, they look good and have a big frame shape but the arms are not XL! They are long enough but really tight to get on. For less than $10 on sale though, can't expect too much. Grab a pair to keep in the car or throw in your bag when you need take off your goggles.

I love these shoes. I have also been in the Vertical K and they are great but have become more of a hiking/scramble shoe than my go-to trail runner. The helios are a tiny bit stiffer and have a little bit more rigid upper making them great for varied and rocky terrain. They are still a minimalist style shoe with a low, 4mm drop but I feel there is enough body in the heel of the sole to accommodate the occasional heel strike on rough descents. They grip well on just about surface I have encountered, even wet rock that I have had trouble with in other shoes. I wear a 9.5-10 in most street shoes and a 10 in most runners. In the Helios I have the 44.5, or US 11. In comparison, I wear a 10 in New Balance MT110 and a 9.5 in North Face Hedgehog. They fit great, with a little extra room in the toe to help with toe bang on descents.

Stance makes the best socks. There, I said it. Sure, Smartwools are awesome for trail running, hiking, etc. but for everyday wear, Stance owns. Super comfy, best colors out there. You won't go back to KMart socks after these.
