Does it get more classic than Ray-Ban Aviators? I think not.

These aren't adorned with tacky details like sequined brand initials, just high quality metal frames with good lenses and a timeless shape. I have a pretty large face and these fit me great. Smaller people may have a hard time rocking these because of the size.

The included leather case and cleaning cloth work like a charm.

These are a pretty classic looking set of sunnies from Ray-Ban. Build quality is top notch as to be expected and the included case is great for storage when I'm not wearing them.

Obviously these are not intended for strenuous outdoor activities, but on sunny days when you need to look sharp they do the trick. They are a pretty small lens shape, so people with a bigger face may want to look for some eyewear with bigger lenses that appear to fit the face better.

If you dig the retro look, you'll love these shades.

I jumped on the original Hesh design years ago. I was young, impressionable, and basically interested in looking cool; so they fit the bill fine and I was a happy little clam. The years passed, the headphones would break, and Skullcandy would honor their lifetime warranty and the rocking would carry on.

But eventually my affections started to fade. I didn't WANT to keep sending in broken headphones. So I switched to something else and forgot about the Hesh.

Now many years after my original Hesh purchase I was encouraged to check out the work Skullcandy has put into version two. Color me impressed. The presentation is far more elegant (I bought them in white) all the way down to the packaging. But the sound is the real improvement here, it appears that Skullcandy actually went back to the drawing board to make genuine improvements to the audio quality.

Two gripes: I wish the included cable was the "woven" variety that resists tangling. I also wish I had bought the version with the inline mic.

If you are in the market to replace your gross reservoir, you might have some questions for your would-be replacement:

Does it hold water? Yes.

Is it easy to fill? Yes.

Is the bite valve pleasant to drink from? Yes.

Do rainbow colored unicorns burst forth to wage war against flaming gerbils every time I open it? No.

Everything you need from your water reservoir, and no supernatural creature problems. What more could you ask for?

It's a simple shoe, no doubt about it.

But sometimes you need simple. Bottom line: I can beat these up and keep coming back for more; they may not really be my style but when you have a long day of work who cares?

If you dig the low shape and the minimal details, grab it and enjoy!

I admit to being something of a one-trick pony when it comes to my denim. I like it dark and simple.

Realizing the one-sidedness of my current wardrobe I sought to diversify a bit and landed at this pair of LRGeans (to use their clever terminology). A subtle wash to the grey denim gives some variation that makes them interesting straight out the package. Minor details like the pocket stitching stand out but don't scream, "LOOK AT ME!"

If you've been stuck on the dark denim train, do yourself a favor and consider grabbing a pair of these.

It will help if you reference my review of the other sliding gloves for sale on Dogfunk: http://www.dogfunk.com/sector-9-skateboards-bhnc-gloves

Basically, while those gloves were okay, these nicer Surgeons remove all complaints I had about their construction and use. The base glove is made out leather which has a great durability and looks pretty damn good to boot. The thumb, which has no puck, is double reinforced should you accidentally find yourself dragging that finger in a slide.

The addition of the two finger pucks on each glove makes a world of difference for me. The additional contact points are helping me keep the gloves in better condition AND making sliding easier. Win, win.

Bottom-line: drop the extra dough and grab these bad boys unless you are 100% certain of how you slide and know you can ditch the finger pucks.

Bought the Burton Sleeper in Team Blue last week and have been loving it ever since. Simply put: the Sleeper is a high quality and thoughtfully adorned hoodie for anybody who enjoys traveling or just being really comfortable all the time.

The beauty of the Sleeper is of course in all the little details woven through the jacket. The inflatable neck pillow, eye cover and music pocket make it easy to plug in and zone out. I was pleased to find small armpit vents which will hopefully help one to avoid that "I've been travelling for 12 hours funk" that seems to develop.

Bottom line: A solid hoodie with loads of awesome details.

This is the first time I've purchased a proper sliding glove. "If you’re still duct-taping cutting boards to work gloves, you’re blowing it." - This has been me for the last 3 years, work gloves from Home Depot with self-fashioned sliding pads.

I figured I would finally rock a proper slide glove and went for these simple Sector 9 pieces. The gloves and pucks seem well made and are comfortable to wear; but they are not the right glove for me.

As an amateur slider I don't have very good control over my form during slides. Because of this I end up placing most of my hand on the pavement during slide attempts. Since this glove only has puck on the palm I managed to quickly wear out the finger tips after forgetting to keep my fingers off the ground one too many times.

The bottom line is that if you have control over your form and can keep those fingers off the ground, these gloves will suit you just fine; but if you're like me and need more contact with the pavement, go for the Surgeon gloves instead:
