I bought the L\XL gunmetal to replace my Flow bindings. I was tired of not being able to use the rear entry on the Flows(just cant get my boot under the strap easily) and those bindings arent built for loading from the top. The strap would get in the way and the rachets are tiny. These Rome bindings have so many features its crazy. First off you get two padded footbeds for each side, one with 3.5 canting and one with no canting, footbeds screw andcsnap into place. The location of the ankle straps can be adjusted as well as the angle of the highbacks(positive or negative to match binding mount angles)--just need to choose which setting will give you the best feel for your riding style. The forward lean of the highbacks are easily adjusted with a flip switch on the back, 3 positions to choose from. The ratchets on both straps are large and easy to get in and out of, plus the padded ankle strap is super soft. Im most looking forward to how the ankle strap has an extra strap to keep the it away from the footbed for easier entry. I bought these because I began to hate strapping into my old bindings although they worked fine once I was riding. With all the possibilities these Boss bindings create I just wish I had these sooner. Worst thing is that I have to wait till next season to ride these..will update when i ride.

Bought this off season but used it already to adjust my bindings. Super simple, has small compartment for 2 screw heads(1 phillips,1 flat) and a small wrench.

Plus it has reversible gears like a ratchet to tighten or loosen, and middle setting for regular hand twisting.

Hope I don't need this on the mountain but you can bet it will be in my jacket pocket just in case.
