These are, by far, the most comfortable pair of flip flops I've worn. For just laying around and lounging in the summer, they are perfect. The beer cozy footbed is super soft. One thing I've noticed is that they do tend to absorb sweat / water a bit and are starting to stink. Not really much of a problem, just air them out at night and they seem good to go.

Chromapop eh? Its a tough technology to sell as, when you put on the sunglasses you dont really notice a big change. You can see clearly, colors look good, and you can stare at the sun, same as most other sunglasses out there... so whats the big deal?

I first noticed how good the lens was when I was out on the water fishing. First off, the polarization is great, it takes care of all glare which helps with eye fatigue and seeing "through" the water. The chromapop really shines trying to spot fish. Colors stay true with chromapop and with that, i was able to pick out contrast extremely easily. Fish that I usually wouldnt see until I walked on / spooked them, were clear as day.

If you really want to be impressed with the sunglasses, wear an old pair of sunglasses for 2 minutes then switch to the chromapops. The difference is clearly noticeable. The colors are so much more vibrant and true.

Beyond the crazy lens, the mastermind is a great frame. It has a similar style to Oakleys "holbrook" which has been a top seller for years. They are comfortable and, with the rubber backing to the arms, they dont slip/move around / fall into the river.

My phone has lasted for a few months now which is better than it usually does. This case is great for protection, but texting on it is kind of a pain in the ass. It makes the touchscreen a bit less responsive and you sometimes need to hammer down on those keys to get results. But hey, its better than breaking phones

I love my ABS airbag base unit, but the pack that came with it (vario 15) was not great. It was too narrow it easily put my shovel in, was too short for my snow saw and 300cm probe, and didnt have any sort of organization, just two basic pockets.

Getting rid of that and replacing it with this dakine 25 L pack is great. There is a fleece goggle pocket, easy ski carry (think any dakine heli pack), pockets for my avalanche tools (shovel, probe, BCA snowsaw all fit easily,) and this leaves another pocket for extra layers, gloves, food water, etc. The pack is very well thought out and easily zips onto a vario base unit. There is nothing I would change about this pack.

Well darn! with 3 lenses I can now cover every condition I will ever encounter on the mountain. The clear lens is used exclusively for night riding at brighton / other night riding places. it is a must if you want to enjoy nightriding without freezing your eyeballs open.

I actually have 2 of the low light lenses and when riding pow days I always keep one in my jacket pocket. Nothing worse than taking a digger, filling your gogs up with snow, then fighting fog all day. This is no longer a problem as it takes less than 15 seconds for me to swap lenses on the lift. Just dont drop them.

The solx is obviously their darkest one and I use it on bright days only. Still pretty good light transmission (can be found in the sizing chart)

One thing I love with ALL smith goggles I have used is that their lens does not distort vision or fatigue my eyes at all. After the first 2 minutes, i forget I even have them on.
