Have used this guy a few times now and am noticing that Skullcandy has upped their game in the sound quality realm. I like that the speakers are removable, I've dropped them in my Smith helmet a couple times to have tunes while I ride... Sick!
Burly, beefy and gets the job done. Gangster-est case I could find. Great if you are the type to just throw you gear all in one bag. You don't want your gogg's gettin scratched up so protect that investment.... duh!
Sick shades for either the serious climber type or the guy with a good sense of humor. With them on ladies look and dudes cringe. It's all about being a bad ass with these on. No one messes not even the sun.
I bought this as a gift for my brother's birthday. He's a sales rep and didn't want to look like a tool carrying a briefcase so he kind of hinted it to me and I grabbed it for him. Surprise! He said he has been stoked. Only drawback is that there is no handle to carry by hand. Only the shoulder strap. He did say that it has helped him stay organized with all the little pockets and pouches. Good gift and a happy sales-rep bro.
So I've been using the Chops Buds for a few weeks now. Typical SkullCandy sound so nothing new there. If you like their sound, you know what it's like. Average nothing to die for but ok. They are the type of headphone that will do the job and that's about it. Nothing fancy, the fit is ok. I wish they part that actually goes in the ear was a little smaller it kinda hurts my ears. We'll see if I change my mind as time goes on but for now 3 stars. Adequate to get the sound during a run.
I'm 5'8" 155 with a 41" chest (you know? a Real-Man's Chest) size chart suggested a medium and that is right. I am comfortable, not too tight.
I have only used it for a Halloween party so I can't comment on what it's like to ride in it yet...
