The Tesla is a Rocker board with little edge on it. This is because it is meant for either beginners, or for the park. It is a great park board because of its 'rocker' design. It is shaped like a smiley face (vs. a cambered board that is shaped like a frown) so it has less edge meeting the snow. Great in the park because it is impossible to catch an edge on this board. However with a rocker, you do sacrifice some of the pop as well. You also sacrifice edge so you may slip out more than with a hybrid or cambered board. You will really notice the lack of edge at higher speeds, steep terrain, with icy/groomer conditions, or in the park. This is not my type of board as I like an all mountain board with more pop and edge. I do ride the park occasionally, but my hybrid board is just fine for the few park laps I take on a given day. With that, I will stick with the Rossignol Diva or Frenemy. I would recommend to a park rat or a beginner.

I absolutely love this board! It is an all terrain board that is fun in the pow (it has good float) and still table on those fast and slick groomer days. I like the mountain to be my playground and I expect the same from my board. Meaning, I like a flexible board that is forgiving, fun, has pop and allows me to jib the tree, spin up the cat track or drop a little cliff. On top of being playful, I felt in complete control on the groomers at high speeds while making hard turns. I may have just converted from my Burton Lipstick...main difference, the Frenemy has more pop and stability, but is still super forgiving and fun to play around with!
