I just snagged this of Department of Goods in the neon synth colorway. Out-of-the-box this bad boy is considerably lighter than any other helmet I've touched. I've got a large head, about 7-5/8" fitted hat, so I have a hard time finding one that fits but doesn't make me look like a mushroom. This one is nice and lo-profile, no conehead action, and did I mention it's super light? Can't wait to test it on the slopes & streets this winter!

great pair of glasses. I got these after looking at a few pair of Oakleys, but the O wanted to charge an extra $50 for tortoise shell colorway. I have a larger head (about size 7 3/4 fitted hat) so a lot of glasses don't fit my face very well, but these fit perfectly - they're big without being bug-eye, and comfortable like you forget you're even wearing them.

Slimewalls DOMINATE.

Lots of ice/crud/hardpack in Michigan. Riding these slimewalls was thoroughly enjoyable. This board rocks on kickers and park jumps. Stable at speed, smooth as butta landings. And the flex is wicked good. Moderate rocker shape didn't wash out on ice, held a decent edge. Probably wouldn't use it as my powder board when I go out west, but it's a solid all-mountain performer.

Just got this bag in black to replace an old Heli Pro pack that my dog partially ate. It's larger than the Heli Pro, but still low-profile if it's not fully loaded. This should be a great pack for carrying extra gear & goods while snowboarding/skiing, or for day-hiking or short camping trips (2-3 days).

Dakine forgot to include a dedicated sleeve/pocket for the hydration bladder; it kind of just floats around in the main compartment. Maybe this won't be a problem in action, but the Heli Pro pack had a pocket for the bladder. This is really the only negative to an otherwise great backpack.

It's a good all-around backpack. I haven't hiked with skis but the diagonal carry looks pretty good. For humping your snowboard, I think the vertical carry is kind of lacking. It doesn't stay very secure so your board bounces all around and hits you in the back of the legs.

If you plan on doing serious backcountry, I wouldn't recommend it, but if you want a good backpack that will carry your extra softgoods, camera, goggles, etc., and has a built-in hydration system, this is a great pack.

I have kind of a larger head (hat size 7 5/8) and this goggle fits a little smaller than some. Otherwise, it's a a great goggle - fits comfy, doesn't fog up on ya. I have the Black Emblem/Gold Chrome Lens.

I have this hat in the khaki/stone color - picked it up about a year ago and hae worn it almost every day since. The flexfit is great, and hasn't lost it's stretch like sometimes they do.

Last winter I cracked the highback on one of my old Drake Supersports and had to replace them. I ended up going with the Cartel and I can't believe how much better binding technology has gotten in the last five years!

The Cartel is pretty lightweight because of the composite construction, and very comfortable straps with plenty of padding. The toe cap strap is good and definitely reduces that squeezing discomfort that sometimes happens with the over-arch strap. Note: if you have an older boot, it might not fit very well. I had a tough time adjusting for my old 32 TM2s.

The best part about this binding is that pretty much every piece of it is adjustable by hand - the highback is super adjustable - which means you don't need to carry a screwdriver or multi-tool.

great gloves. i'm not a fan of some of the super bulky gloves with removable liners - my hands get too warm - so this is perfect for me. The waterproofing is holding up OK, but I imagine that by mid-January I'll need to retreat them. I wore these last night and it was 13 degrees, they kept my hands nice and warm.

They are very comfortable, soft for leather, and they fit a little bit longer than some other brands, so if you have short stumpy fingers, maybe these aren't for you.
