I've only ridden this board once. I found it to be squirrly and responsive all at once. In the deep powder I didn't notice any difference in the float. You still have to lean back (not too much) and keep the tip up. It's a fun ride on the groomers. It feels like your riding on the center of the board even side to side. It grips great on the hard pack. I detuned my tip and tail, and am now wondering if that was a smart move. It really likes to slide around just like a banana. I think I need a couple of more days of riding to have a strong opinion either way.
